Truth About Seafood is a San Luis Obispo based rock band. Their sound is influenced by a variety of groups including Tom Petty, the Beatles, the Cars, Elvis Costello, and Bruce Springsteen. The songwriting, harmony vocals, and slide guitar add a slight alt-country edge to the band. TAS has played various local shows including "Concerts in the Plaza" in SLO and it was a 2009 finalist for the New Times' "Newtie" awards for best band.
